Crashing Wave was started about 4 years ago when I joined Derek our lead guitarist/songwriter, Eric our bass guitarist/song writer, and Dan our lead singer and lyricist. About a year ago Bill joined the band and added a much needed second guitar to our line-up.
We are focused on writing and recording original rock music with many musical and real world influences. Our songs are very eclectic. While many are blues rock rooted, some have a country influence, some a middle eastern influence, while others have a Latin American influence. You never know what we'll come up with next.
We're all very busy family and business men so we don't always make the progress we wish we could, but it's a ton of fun.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We play live once or twice a year. Usually at our singers annual pig roast and some times at other special events.
Your musical influences
The band has many influences including many of the blues/rock and rock greats like Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Aerosmith, Jimi Hendrix, and Led Zeppelin.
