“Mom! Look over there there’s an elf!” The excited 6-year old doesn’t know he is pointing towards a peculiar phenomenon. Little does the kid know that this is the best way anyone has ever tried to describe him. Alexis was born and raised with the South of France sun; coming from Aix, next to Marseille, he has always had a very personal approach to music. His first love of Heavy Metal then drove him to the mythical Free Parties of the south known for their walls of sound; always counted in kilos and never weak. Already mastering the guitar, he invested in a Yamaha groove box and started his training in sound manipulations. His first experience with psy-trance happened in 2000; in college rooms with Nygma and lazy_i. Amazed at the power of the music his love was quickly revealed. It was obvious from the early times of mixing that he would never truly be satisfied with playing other people’s sounds. So he got to work and invested in building a respectable home-studio with enough wires to give any onlookers a head ache. Soon enough, he developed a style then performed his first live in 2004. His tracks run from 137bpm to 160 bpm. Full On, his live act is best enjoyed alongside the first rays of sun. Always dressed in black this man is on a mission to magnetize people into his musical world. One word of advice: watch out for beer tossings and other ceremonial blessings he might orchestrate.
