CornHustlas consist of four members which are all family. Illy aka (Idoubles) and Kuzzo aka (Pak) who are brothers T Low (cousin) and Too Cold (cousin). They were all born in Marion IN but separated for a while. Illy and Kuzzo moved to Anderson IN and formed the group P-Hayes while T Low and Too Cold stayed in Marion and created the D.C.G’s and also the N.O.C.S. They reunited in 1999 in Indianapolis IN with the one common goal of taking their music to another level therefore forming Indiana CornHustlas (I..C.H).
The CornHustlas produce and write their own music. Beats are created by PakIllTracks they strongly believe in keeping their music original and not using samples. This forces them to come up with music that is different or you could say unique. The lyrics are filled with messages while at the same time keeping it gangster. With Illy’s cleaver play on words, Pak’s voice and verses that seem to come out of nowhere and mesh perfectly with the beat, T Low’s tell it like it is grimy lyrics, and Too Cold’s straight to the point verses, makes this group refreshing to listen to. There is something in their music for everybody.
The CornHustlas have been on the underground scene for along time. They have rocked crowds in the Mid West for years places like Fort Wayne, Marion, Kokomo, Anderson, Muncie, Lafayette, Terre Haute, Bloomington, Indianapolis, Gary, Chicago, Columbus OH., Atlanta GA., Tampa Bay FL. They have also been on many mix tapes and cd’s and have had songs played (Cherry’s -n-Berry’s) on Hott 107.9 (Fort Wayne) and Hott 96.3 (Indy).
CornHustlas are here and not to be denied. Gangster music with substance.
Yes. We play live with a local band every year at the local park in Marion IN. every year on June 10th, and in Anderson at the Black Expo. We love it! With a live band it seems like the crowd can feel your energy more, and we can feel them. The most special moment was performing at my cousins funeral. The song "Where Did My Heaven Go" written years before his death, but seeing the way it touched people made me realize we had something special. Imagine rap music in a church and people crying.
