The band Cops on Acid was founded by Josh Barnes in 1996, and since then has had many members. The longest-lasting and most trustworthy being Billy Belsom, who has joined Josh in his mission of rock for many years now. The band has had several names, culminating in the name "Cops on Acid." In the past we have been formerly known as The Adultolescents, Audio Distortion, Nightbeast, Pearl Jam 2, and Men With Hats, among many others.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes, most often at coffee shops, and sometimes bars when the occasion arises. We love to play live, either acoustic or electric. One bright and shining moment was when Josh humped a small plastic statue of Santa Claus. It 'twas the season.
