Concubine was formed after the creation of "Sorrow" in 2003. In need of a handle for the review of this song on a swedish website for musicians (www.forum.studio.se) concubine was choosen. The song, inspired by the feelings of a close friend after the death of a loved one in a tragic motorcyckle accident, took 2 days two write and put music too but never reached a finished production due to lack of basic producing knowledge and equipment. Around the same time I was looking for other musicians too colaborate with and came in contact with Twilight Zounds(www.twilightzound.smyr.net)(www.soundclick.com/bands/pageartist.cfm?bandID=135391) who needed a guitarist to lay down some tracks on a few songs he was producing. "Sorrow" was recorded and mastered at his home studio in 2004 and I was shown the world of Cubase. After many attempts, computer crashes and curse words I was able to put down my first solo production (lacking in many ways but still a begining) "that bottle of Daniel's" which was writen before "sorrow" after too many late nights of drinking and listening to The Pouges. Many half finished songs have been writen since then, all of which have been small steps in learning the basic skills of recording and producing with advanced computer programs. "promises", my latest song, has taken many hours and is my best solo production so far and hopefully it will only get better
