Been around the amateur music scene for 30+ years as both a solo/duo guitarist gigging in pubs, bars, restaurants, as a stage musical director and as a member of various cover bands. Singer/songwriter with back catalogue of 40-50 (mostly unpublished!) songs. Solid writing partnership with my old pal Tony who sadly died in the summer of 2007.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yep. Currently with a 60/70/80's cover band (www.wheelz.org) as keyboard player doing mainly local gigs. Am attempting to learn how to use *both* hands on the keyboard (I'm a guitarist - dammit!)...

Pretty varied but highlight artists are Paul Simon, James Taylor, Mike Oldfield, Jackson Browne. I'm also interested in making music for TV/Films etc.What equipment do you use?

I saw Colin perform a few songs at The Running Well Club open mic in Wickford, Essex last night. The tone of his voice can only be described as mellow and, when I closed my eyes, it took me to another place entirely. I could sit and listen to an evening of Colin Davies only. I cannot describe how truly lovely his voice actually is. A thoroughly nice and humble man.
