Variations on the Evening Meadow Variations on the Evening Meadow
As sudden as this might seem, I've churned out a new work in around two hours. This was was played live on the MIDI keyboard, but well... there was some editing involved to creect my mistakes. Basically, like how people made Variations to Canon in

This piano-only piece took quite some time and effort to compose, but well, I'm proud of it. Does not feature modulation, so it's not a Sonata in strict technical sense, but ah well. It's nice to listen to, IMO.

Well, I'm ClassicalFreak, and this is my 'band'. Unfortunately, I don't really have the musical skills to make 'quality' music'; as im just a beginner, and my knowledge of Reason is also pretty limited. Making music is a hobby to me, and not a profession. I do embark in quite a number of genres, though they are mostly ambient music. One 'trademark' (if you can call it that) of my music is that it's mostly sad; I've never really composed something happy before, since, well, I'm not happy.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes, the piano, but only among friends, in school. Special moments include being complemented on my compositions, but well, technically speaking, there are a million out there much better than what I can ever be.
Your musical influences
Chinese and Japanese chords are used 'somehow' in my music; thus some of it sounds 'chinese'. Also, well, fantasy stories and books, and a person I have been obsessed with. That's all I can say.What equipment do you use?
