I also wrote the score for Activision's Empires, Dawn of the Modern World. As a software engineer I worked at Microsoft for over 10 years, worked on Black Ops3, and now I work as a developer on Roland Cloud.

He teaches recorder at the Conservatory of Fribourg. Thom studied early music and recorder at Oakland University in Michigan with Lyle Nordstrom before going on to the Musik Akadamie in Basel Switzerland where he studied with Michael Piguet.
