Growing up in the small town of Avondale, Newfoundland, Canada, I always had an interest in music and started playing the guitar at age 12. By the time I was 14, I was playing for two masses every Saturday and Sunday.
This was probably the beginning of my interest in gospel music and a realization of its impact on people. The positive feedback became the seed needed for a young boy to gain confidence in his music ability. Looking back now, I think the Lord was just laying the groundwork for my own music. I felt a real joy back then playing this music and I still feel it today.
I also realized at a young age the importance of God and family, and how the two are intertwined. This still remains with me today.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes. Conferences, special Religious events etc.
