Cindy Ribet is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and artist that has been living music since she was a child. Her father was a Bluegrass Fiddle player and her mother a gospel pianist. She and her sisters could sing harmony and play instruments while still in elementary school.
Cindy has played with a number of folk, gospel and old- time music bands and continues to perform both solo and with other musicians on a regular basis.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I often play live solo, or with other musicians. I love doing house concerts and being able to sing my own music. I was most honored to teach hammered dulcimer at the first Dulcimer festival in County Cork Ireland. My most treasured memories are of busqueing the southern coastal cities of Ireland with two friends for three weeks.

My musical influences from music that comes from the soul and not just musical trends. Folk, ballads, instrumental improv.
What equipment do you use?
Instruments- hammered dulcimer, guitar, recorders, fiddle.
I do not have my own sound equipment.
