Ciga-Rell-O begin his musical career at age of 12 playing drums for choirs around the Middle Georgia area. 5 years later while stationed at Camp Lejune, North Carolina he began to get deeper and deeper into his musical calling. People got tired of hearing him freestyle all day everyday with nothing to show for it, so friends and family encouraged him to make a career out of it. . The only problem was transferring freestyles from his head to a pad and then to a recorded track. Once he started writing his thoughts down it was impossible to stop then. After completing pad 8 it was time to push it to the limit. He began recording with Blood Money Music Inc. & Hustle Hard Records in 2002. The label was independant, but the talent was ahead of its time. Mixing different artist and producers from California, Texas, New York, N.C., Florida, D.C., and Georgia. When all these different styles came together the results were outstanding and started a whole new "throwed " style of music. Rell Boy did numerous shows along the east coast and New York. In 2003 Rell Boy was deployed to Okinawa, Japan. That's where his music would actually start impacting people the way he intended. He networked and partnered with D.J. U and D.J. Hi-5 (King Productions and Positive Productions) and started taking Japan by storm. Starting as the opening act for many Major American Artist on tour in the far east at sold out shows. He was involved in numerous freestlye battles all around Okinawa . He released 2 underground c.d's in Japan, "The Underground Rell Road & Real Recognize Rell." Upon exiting the Marine Corps, Rell Boy came back to the roots of his music(Milledgeville Ga.) and started touring with FishScales(Nappy Roots) and working on new mixtapes for the streets and country. He specializes in producing beats and even dabbles in ghostwriting for others. Look forward for many more releases from Rell Boy, collabs in the works for "The Ciga-Rello mixtape" and "The Rell World" album in the works now.
