Did you ever consider writing a song that they can't refuse to publish? You know, a britney spears song, one you know works for the message they're trying to convey? If you write a song that makes Donald Rumsfeld sound like a hero to the american people, a victor for the principles of freedom, then once you've signed the deal, you can throw another 10 or 11 songs with your own work on the album :)

espband! I'd like any mp3's of Chris that you have. I made friends with him when he came to the DC area. We stayed in contact for a while until I think he decided I was a lush. He was the one who clued me in, in August 2001 that Sept 11 was going to be an event. He didn't exactly say "sept 11 is going to happen", but I visited him in august 2001 and when I left, I thought he was a paranoid nut talking about how our government was about to bring down martial law, how things were going to get crazy, how things weren't what they seemed. Well, he was right.

Keep telling the truth. The truth is all we have, man! You're the one to tell the truth. It's the time, people want to know the truth now, they need the truth. Tell it like it is!

Hey Phil, I do have some of Chris' recordings, but we used to be in a band together in Pittsburgh...long ago and far away...it was actually called ESP, which is where my moniker started on this site. Heya Chris, some new stuff maybe??

I think it's a shame, a guy who's spent his entire life being a musician, learning, knowing and doing everything necessary to be the best he can be, and nobody is giving him the recognition he deserves. Chris is a musician, he's a poet and a scholar. Give the guy the credit he deserves. I'm in awe of the guy, he speaks the truth. He speaks it plainly and he speaks it clearly. He's the man. Not that man, but he's still the man.

okay, that's weird. All of chris's music is back up. For some reason I thought he'd taken it all down. So we're all cool now, his songs are online and we can all see the progression he's made. His music rocks. Now, if we can just get the damn idiots at the labels to hear his music.

Yeah, Chris will hate me for calling "Speak to me" the man in the moon. I know it's speak to me, and I love the song, but I always call it the man on the moon or the man in the moon. For some reason, Chris has taken his best work off of soundclick. Speak to men is probably one of his best songs. Sure, it's never going to be a top 40, but it's a quality song, and it gives a great picture of the kind of awesome music Chris puts out. put ALL your music back up on soundclick man! You know what you're doing, and it sounds great!

hey espband, we should trade demos, do you have human, or the one he made while he was in misawa japan? My favorite ck song is man in the moon. I don't know why, but it's an instant classic as far as I'm concerned.

Duude, you rock. I remember when you played for east-to-west and the deep end in the Washington DC area. You were the only person on stage with any sense of performance or musical production. When you threw that bible out into the audience on that live song, when you opened for emmet swimming, it made the crowd go crazy. AND YOU WERE SICK during that show, the rest of your band and the headliner never had the crowd that worked up at all that entire evening.
