Industrial

:-) I work on several styles of Christian music including Industrial (theCELLexperiment), artscape (echoDrone) acoustic rock (Desperate) and a lot of other stuff too. In addition I like to remix other Christian artists, especially non-electronic artists, so let me know if you wanna be remixed.
Band/artist history
The first band I was in was Twelve Foot Forehead...the biggest band that never was. The first "real" band I played in was Trapping Daniel which later became Godcent which was a lot of fun. I went through an industrial/electronic phase and out of that theCELLexperiment spawned 1 split and 2 full length CDs. Being a thirtysomething I seem to have lost my teen angst and as such I haven't been too inspired to do any tCe in the last few years...but I do not conisder it a dead project. out of tCe was spawned echoDrone which is an artscape/soundtrack/etherial type electronic project. Haven't done that in a while. I still love to remix songs as electronic music and depending on how the song feels will label it by tCe or echoDrone. Currently I am playing in a modern acoustic rock meets praise and worship band that I love Desperate. It's great to play with great friends who also have the same ministry goals and ideas that you have...plus they just rock! You will find songs from all my projects posted here eventually. Maybe.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Desperate will play live and I've played live with other praise and rock bands. I don't do the electronic stuff live because I don't have the gear or "crazy, mad skillz"...yet.
Your musical influences
I like everything except any country music...but I do LOVE americana/alt.country (Son Volt etc) Some of my influences are/have been: Counting Crows, REM, Son Volt, Mortal, Plankeye, Poor Old Lu, Rick Mullins and just about any good hooky rock song!
What equipment do you use?
Aha! One for me. I'm stuck between new school and old school. I use an old copy of Acid Music 2.0 as my primary canvas. I have a Yamaha CS2X synth, Fender bass, Trace Elliot Amp, a small Behringer mixing board and that's about it! Other software is Fruitly Loops and GoldWav...I'd like to have a newer version of Acid with more effects but I'm pretty happy with all I have.
Anything else?
Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: My God WILL hear me. Micah 7:7
