Chris and Drew, a husband & wife songwriting team, got together in January 2000. Drew had been a singer/guitarist/songwriter playing in various bands since the mid 80's. Chris had just started writing lyric's when they got together in 2000. The first song they wrote together was "Dreams Do Come True" and they progressed from there. Chris also provides backing vocals on some tracks, although she does not proclaim to be a singer, she preffers writng lyrics. The main goal for Chris & Drew, is to get their music published for other well known artists to perform, this would surely be a dream come true.
Dedicated to our songwriting as well as each other.Band/artist history
We have been writing together for 5 years and music is part of what brought us together in love.Have you performed in front of an audience?Haven't played live for a while we just concentraite on our songwriting.
Your musical influences
A wide range of influences from AC/DC to Elvis.
Love classic bands like Journey,Whitesnake,Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Santana and Queen.Anything else?
Our dream is to be recognised internationaley for our songwriting and hopefully make a career out of this. We would love to go into a professional recording studio, but unfortunatley we have not got the funds to do this at the moment. All our songs have been recorded from home on our PC using Cubase SX in combination with a Creative Audiology 2 ZS sound card with an external I/O and my guitar.

A few years back you made a very complimentary comment on my comments page about my song "What did your last slave die of?". Tonight I discovered that the comments page exists - ¿Uh duh, huh?
So, here I am returning the compliment. "Prisoner" is a great piece of rock that reminds me of one of my all time favourite bands: "Wishbone Ash" - Don't ask me why? ;-)
Keep on rocking!

PS I only took stars off because you haven't printed the lyrics and I couldn't always make them out completely.
Hi, I'm from Carlisle too! www.soundclick.com/leannepattinson

Hey thanks for the comments on Emotional Pain...I get to write so few duet lyrics but the music seemed to call for it...glad it works for you (we all been there eh?)
Hi,
Loving the sounds on your page....especially like your vocals Drew. As a lyricist myself, I'd love to read along as I listen....maybe Chris's lyrics could be pasted in when you upload new songs? Or you could edit in admin and add them to existing ones.....why should u for lil ole me? Cos I hope we'll become friends....
Brand New Song and Prisoner both fine songs!
....and by the way, thanks so much for kind comments on dawn's page about our latest :)
