Chain Poets

Chain Poets formed in Atlanta, Georgia in the spring of 1997. The first official Chain Poets show took place at the Point (don't look for it now, it's not there anymore). Playing to a semi-packed room for those in the know, Chain Poets delivered a blistering 45 minute set of material written mostly during the previous few months while serving time in a previous band (don't look for them now, they're not there anymore). Over the next several months singer/guitarist Greg Kaegen, drummer Michael Patrick, and bassist T. Penland Cone honed their live act and polished their songwriting, resulting in an impressive set of killer power pop tunes delivered with passion, energy and reckless abandon, earning them well-deserved credibility and respect in the Atlanta music scene.
