"This experimental project has been the baby of brothers EvilJ (Joe) & J-Rok (Jon) (members of GodFace & pHAt taTEr ) for many years. The brothers are mostly self-taught musicians, having only a few lessons early in their career. They have put out countless recordings that all started about 10 years ago using 2 tape recorders to bounce recorded tracks. Now with much better recording equipment, they are back at it again. "Risen, Only to fall" is the latest installment from the brothers, a self-produced plethora of musical influences blended together to create an ambient, roots derived sound and feel. The raw emotion that flows in all of their music shows the character that they have become most known for. This CD is sure to please most instrumental buffs out there".
