Hello everyone! Time to update you! I've been so busy since my graduation in 2001! Early in 2001 I signed with my new manager Mr. Glenn Keener, award winning Nashville producer who during his time at Mercury Records produced Reba McEntire's 1st album. In late fall we cut the last song for my first CD self-titled "Casey Thompson" We are very pleased with our work and are making plans for the next one. In late May 2001 I left Ohio to start my life in Branson, MO as a performer in one of the many live theater shows. I auditioned and landed a late season feature spot in the world premier of Ripley's Life Theater. I finished the season out there as the lead female singer. This past year I had the experience of working with 10 very talented performers who soon became my ten best friends! Our show was put together by a very respected producer Mr. Mike Patrick. The show began in April or 2002 and ended with a bang in October 2002. The Echo Hollow Jubilee, performed in Branson's Silver Dollar City, was a 2 hour show jammed packed with Country, Gospel, dancing....and favorites from the 50's through the 90's! It was an incredible show where we all got to be showcased for our individual talents! I gained so much experience along with making some new best friends for life! During the show, many of us performed in other shows as well. One, called Extreme Sports, featured pop style dancing, singing and extreme bicycle, skateboarding and rollerblading stuntmen. We had so much fun getting to work with people from Nickelodeon and stuntmen from all over the world. Later in the season we did a show called Christmas in the Ozarks. In this family oriented show we revisited the "Good ol' days" where we gathered around the fireplace and sang traditional Christmas carols. Coming soon in April of 2003, I will be taking the role as the lead female singer on the newest Holland America cruise ship called the Zuiderdam. There I will be cruising the Eastern and the Western Caribbean, porting every day on a different island...and performing for the passengers at the end of each day. There will be 3 different shows we perform weekly including one called "Stage and Screen" where we perform songs from old and new popular movies. I was excited to hear that I get to portray Christina in my rendition of Moulin Rouge! I've never been on a cruise before, but...I look forward to seeing the world while still getting to do what I love! Thank you for visiting my website and catching up on all the news. Maybe I'll see you cruisin' the Caribbean! Best wishes
