"Emancipate"
In spirituality:
The process of the gradual elevation of or liberation to service to the soul. Materially taken it means to become an equal to a certain standard of civilization. Spiritually it refers to the process of gradual liberation beginning with listening, speaking and remembering ending in friendship and finally surrender to the dictates of the soul.
I have learned much about the business side of the music industry lately. There are the good sides, and the bad sides. It is mostly bad. People selling themselves as being more than they really are. People who sell themselves as being the person who can "bring out the talent in you" should be avoided at all costs, despite the fact that they may perhaps mean well. Even that which is offered as a free service can become very costly. This is not always physical or financial, it can be emotional and spiritual as well. If one feels that one's worth is tied solely to one's financial status in life, then one will fast become bitter and jaded. We are all only human, and as such, we are all prone to make mistakes, but when business rears it's sinister little head into the world of music, it all too often becomes ugly. The music is no longer any fun at that point, and as long as the music is no fun, there is no point in playing it.
As such, at the request of the bulk majority of my fans, I have gone back to my roots : "raw, accoustic folk."
Like it, love it, or hate it : that is up to the audience to decide. What is crucial in this equation is that I am having fun here. And that is what music is supposed to be about.
Thanks to popular demand this is : Straight up Carl Beaupre : unplugged, with no pretentions. Just a cheap dollar store cpu mic., and an ancient software program. Lots of hiss, but it is : "honest, genuine, and real."
If you like this brand of raw, accoustic talent, I am quite certain that you will also enjoy my friend Tom Pirosok, who can be found at www.soundclick.com/tompirosok
I would also like to invite you to take a peek at Tom Pirosok's website : www.geocities.com/tompirosok/

One of the songs I perform on the CD is 'Walking To Nashville.' This song was written by Vonee Rose, and I encourage you to stop by Vonee's page as well.(www.soundclick.com/voneerose) You will not be disappointed.
For reforms ameliorate the situation of the working class, they lighten the weight of the chains labour is burdened with by capitalism, but they are not sufficient to crush capitalism and to emancipate the workers from their tyranny.

I love playing live, it's what I do. I especially love playing live on the street. I love the spontaneous flavour of a street performance; and the intimate relationship with the audience.
Woody Guthrie, The Guess Who, Roger Whittaker, Bela Fleck, Tony Rice, David Grisman, Jerry Garcia, Flatt & Scruggs.
I currently use an old Washburn guitar 12-string guitar, with a Dean Markley soundhole pickup; as well as a Fender Banjo with a piezzo pickup installed under the feet of the bridge.
