Carl & Irma Brown have over 1,500 songs! They have been in the music business for many years and they perform regularly every Saturday night at the Louisville Opry country music show they founded in Louisville, KY, as well other places in the area. They also founded the Blue-lick Jamboree and the Shelby County Jamboree. Our music is high energy aggressive country music brought to a new level at its best, and some rock n roll thrown in with a heavy backbeat. Carl and Irma both have performed on Renfro Valley in KY and Irma appeared on the Midnight Jamboree broadcast nationwide on WSM Radio from the Earnest Tubb record shop. Carl received runner-up in a nationwide KFC songwriting contest and an award signed by Barbara Mandrell and has had many songs published and recorded throughout the years. His song: America, Awake from Your Sleep was #2 in Louisville, KY, and his song: Second Best was in the top twenty in Louisville, KY for 7 months. Carl has also had the opportunity to write with Kenny Sauder (writer of Wheres This Place Called Lonely Street) and has had songs published in companies such as Polygram. Carl, through a publisher in Nashville, was able to put one of his songs in the hands of Johnny Cash in the 90s and found out he liked it. Irma won a talent competition at the Shelby County Fair in KY for her singing. Hank Snow was going to put Irma on RCA several years ago, but at that time there were other obligations to meet in their lives. Carl & Irma have performed with Bill Anderson, Jack Greene, Stella Parton, Ernie Ashworth, Roy Acuf, and many others. Carl was born in Mt. Eden, KY. He is a unique and different performer and is very strong in his delivery and is very entertaining to watch. He plays the rhythm guitar, sings lead vocals, and is the leader/founder of the group. Irma was born in Samuels, KY. Irma is a very strong singer and entertainer who sings duets with Carl as well as lead vocals on many songs. She is a very versatile musician who can play several instruments such as keyboard, dobro, fiddle, harmonica, and steel guitar. Their drummer Daniel Crescente who comes from Buffalo, NY has played with Carl & Irma since he was 6 years of age. He is an incredible drummer, a great entertainer, and lead singer. He has played with T.D. Jakes, The Light Club band, Eagles Wings ministry, and was the head drummer for the Full Gospel Tabernacle church of over 3,000 members. Rich Wiatrowski is also from Buffalo, NY and is a marvelous bass player, a great lead singer, and entertainer, who has won several music awards throughout the years. He has sung with Rosemary Clooney and her daughter on television, he has performed in the Berklee College of Music in Boston Massachusetts, got to play music with Doc Severenson, conducted his high school orchestra, and also does engineer work for the group. Carl and Irma Brown are music veterans who have an exceptional catalogue of songs and are now more than ready to go forth very strong in the music business. Shows start at 8:00pm and usually go to 10:00pm or 11:00pm
