CAM B- Cameron Cortez Bryan, born February 2, 1988 is an up and coming hip hop artist from Frederick, Maryland. Still unsigned, Cam B. continues to work hard, mainly out of the DMV area(D.C., Maryland, Virginia). He first grabbed the attention in his city with his first three major singles including "Laughing" produced by Shakey Biz, "Better than Me" produced by up and coming producers J-Trav and Shaun Holly, which featured a sample from the band Hinder and the latest "7am" produced by The Drum Kings, J- Trav and Belmont Records.Band/artist history
The videos for Cam B.'s first three singles were all shot by Screenstorytellers in November 2010, February 2011, and June 2011 respectively. Cam B. was featured on the mixtape "KNOCK OUT ARTISTS round one" with fellow MC, J-Trav. He went on to release a follow up mixtape entitled "KNOCK OUT ARTISTS bonus round" in Nov. 2010. Cam B. and J-Trav are currently working on "KNOCKOUT ARTISTS round 2" scheduled to be released in 2012. Cameron is also scheduled to release his highly anticipated Mixtape "Schemes and Dreams hosted by DJ Schemes" in late 2011. Born in Frederick City, Maryland, Cameron inherited his passion for music from his father. Major influence in his life include: his uncle Otis Tillman who taught him to make something from nothing in an impoverished drug infested area, and his Aunt Stephanie Tillman who urged Cameron to stay in school and advance to college. Cameron was also raised and influenced by Christianity which was instilled early by his Grandmother Brenda Pearson. (life with music) Cameron's first influences with music were from oldies music such as Heatwave, and Earth Wind and Fire. He then grew to love GoGo and Hip Hop alike with influences from LL Cool J, Puff Daddy, Mase, Notorious B.I.G. Cameron was rapping as early as 8 years old with his best friend Eric PE Means in a group ironically called "Lil Bad Boyz". Cameron went on to develop his craft and release minor EPs while in high school including Mixtape Mayor I and II. The positive feedback lead to him growing and working with other artist from the area including Young Pride (of Pittsburgh), Jamaal J-Mill West (of Frederick), Vito Brown (D.C.), and many local MCs including Ricole Barnes, Cee, Thrill, J- Trav, and Dust all of Frederick, Maryland. Cameron has also written and worked with Provocative Entertainment Modeling, SceneitCaughtitCrew, Beyu Clothing, and Icon Natn (icon nation). From Aug. 2010 until present day, Cameron has worked with an assortment of producers including Al Grindstine (S.O.L.E.), Brent Belmont (Belmont Records), Shaun Holly (Smash Hit), J- Trav (Drop Dead), June G. (Juniors World). He has also performed in an assortment of night clubs in the Tri-State area and has opened up for acts such as Travis Porter, Maino (twice), Freeway (twice), Chalie Boy, Da Phuture, and JR Writer.
