I'm a 22 (at the time of this writing) year old guy from northwest Ohio who plays acoustic guitar, sings, and writes songs.
Band/artist history
I got my first guitar for Christmas in 2000 and had my first song written 4 months later. It sucked, but what do you expect? Since then I've tried twice to form a band, succeeding once (for about a month) until finally deciding to just put out solo music.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I've only played live in front of a crowd once so far in my old band called Self-Titled, but I'll play live again after a while.
Your musical influences
I sound more like The New Amsterdams than anything else, but besides Matt Pryor I'm also heavily influenced by Dashboard Confessional, The Ataris, Reel Big Fish, The Offspring, Goldfinger, New Found Glory, Murder By Death, Fall Out Boy, The Hippos, More North and the list goes on and on...
