CAIGED ANGEL is one of the area’s hottest bands! Said by promoters to offer a taste of it all, CAIGED ANGEL thrives to keep the music fresh by constantly adding new material. If you like a mix of good ol’ time rock-n-roll, today’s music, classic and contemporary country, and enough of the blues to spice it up, then this band is for you.
The blended styles of the musicians give CAIGED ANGEL’s music a kick that keeps toes tappin’, hands clappin’, bellies rubbin’, and flatfooters hoppin’! Each member has an extensive background in music and live performance experience that adds charisma and stage presence to the shows. The band and the audience are connected by the love of the music and electrified atmosphere generated by the energy of the show.
Steve (Caige) Fuller has been described as having “flowing fingers” on the guitar and a voice comparable to Bob Seger. Angie (Angel) Fuller is the little woman with the thunderous voice. She is said to be this area’s Bonnie Raitt, Janis Joplin, and Stevie Nicks all wrapped up in one! Sam Goodman provides the thump that hits the lows just right. An amazing talent that is still evolving, he adds just the right “umph” to the music. Greg Honaker kicks it on the drums with the beats that pull it all together. He plays with the zeal and enthusiasm needed to keep the music, and the audience, moving. And last, but not least, Poppy Goodman. Poppy adds just the right twang with the subtle notes of his harmonica. He is the wise one of the group!
CAIGED ANGEL is equipped with a spectacular light show! Intelligent Laser lighting (anything higher and a permit is required!), Par 64 light system, smoke machines, strobes, police lights, disco ball, and patterned laser designs, all choreographed to provide the audience the ultimate musical experience.
CAIGED ANGEL has performed extensively throughout the region. Venues include: The Richlands Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored events (Alive at Five, Richlands Area Festival, October Funfest), Appalachian Blues and Jazz Fest, Bramwell Oktoberfest, Good Morning Johnson City Mid Day television program, Tazewell County Festival, J.R.’s Dinner Club, Damon’s Restaurant Patio Pickin’ Series, Sisters Blues Café, and many other venues throughout the region.

At first we put together a blues group With Butch Whitt on bass, and Greg Honaker on drums. We went far fast, playing at several blues venues but, that was not enough to satisfy the hunger. We took a two year break from the band, and went back to the acoustic stuff. After that break, we decided to put the band back together at full force doing what we love to do, entertaining the people. Caiged Angel started playing everything from country to rock. This time, we called up our old friend Greg to jump back on drums, and, man am I glad he did, he is great, and called on Sammy, Angie’s sixteen year old brother, to put the backbone into our music just as I did at his age, except, I think he does it a lot better than I ever could back then on bass. Of course, no one other than Angel, with that voice sent from heaven could lead the way. Then there’s me, back on the lead guitar.
