Don’t be mistook Cadillac Zack is a Country artist and what you are about to hear is indeed Country music. In a society today that is influenced by the Urban music scene Cadillac Zack has found a method for drawing the attention of crowds that would not normally be drawn to Country music. Not blessed with an ability to belt out on pitch country tunes Cadillac Zack has instead decided to revolutionize Country music with his transformation of Country tunes to deep bass, snare drums, cymbals and a rich baritone voice that can deliver mean country raps. Whether it be his rendition of Charlie Daniel’s “Devil Went Down to Georgia” with his own “the Devil came up to my town”, his rendition of Tyra’s “Country Boys” with his own “Kuntry Boyz” or his original tracks “Once upon a time” and “keep it down home”, Cadillac Zack has proven a fan base of both country music and Urban hip-hop music fans.
Born and Raised in the country in his hometown of Wapato, WA Cadillac Zack was born Zachary Scott Dorr. His father a Jimmy Buffet parrot head and his mother a die hard John Denver fan, Zack grew up on everything from Charlie Daniels, ZZ Top and Stevie Ray Vaughn, to Garth Brooks, Alabama, and numerous rappers from Notorious B.I.G. to Will Smith. His own musical talents began to shine through in middle school when he would write rhymes to sing in the bridge of some country songs. He took guitar lessons but spent more time singing the songs than playing them and soon kicked the lessons. His talents soon evolved into a full fledged passion for music and was soon unable to go without a pen and a piece of paper to write down all his lyrics. In high school his focused turned to athletics as he was a world-class track athlete but he continued to write and perform music on the side. He first made an impact with his music at his high schools talent show, and after seeing the reaction of the crowd he was hooked for life. Now, 4 years later and 20 years old, Cadillac Zack has taken drastic steps in his skills, and has evolved into a country artist who is able to draw fans from all different genres of music. A cowboy himself Cadillac knows the meaning of true Country Music and keeps all his songs friendly and clean, he only sings about things true to himself and to the Country music industry. A cowboy who’s passion and one true love is music and rocking crowds to a treat that they didn’t expect and a form of music they had no idea was coming Cadillac Zack is the next biggest thing in Country music. A love for country music but not blessed with a singing voice Cadillac has found a way to make an impact to the industry.
