The band's history is a short term,three year affair.To date,the band has only missed 17 weekends in past three years.We have played clubs from Birmingham to Camden and all in between.Also, we play festivals and Cancer benefits for the American Cancer Soc.Our goal is not to be big stars or rich.Each member of this band plays from the heart because we love the music and we love performing.The new Byaxident CD,released July 2nd 2004,called "First Time Around",has drawn rave reviews from fans and friends as well as interest from local radio stations.The new single on the CD is called,"TROUBLE".This song has brought about a whole new era for the band.Four more homegrown songs are in the works for the next CD.
We have references from clubs such as,Central Station,31-65,Carrera's,Willies,The Silver Steer,The Skylight,Friends,Chase Pub,Rafeal's as well as the Ride for Life benefit,the 2nd annual Spring Music Festival,Camden Ride for Life(cancer benefit),The Briarfield Iron Works Cancer benefit,Calera Spring Fling,Jemison Music Festival,and several grand openings for businesses in our local area.
Even though the band only has a three year history,the members have a combined 100 years of music behind them.Ronnie and Rick have been playing road gigs for 30 years and Tony and Paul have made their mark over the past decade.The band has a standing rule,"A Friend is a most important thing".Although BYAXIDENT has made changes in line up,sets,set list and equiptment,the band stands strong.
After becoming a member of Bandsofbama.org,fan base grew and people started to take notice.
