Burning January is a moody mixture of melody, screaming, catchy hooks, and floating guitars. Like many of the bands in this new rising genre of "whatever"-core, the band is heavily dependent on their live show to capture and display their sound and presence.Band/artist history
We started around September of 2001. At the time it was just Jeff, Micah, and me (Jezy). We didn't really play many shows or anything, but it was a start none the less. Josh joined the band around February of 2002 which allowed me to move to guitar and vocals, which really seemed to be a nice little formula for us.Have you performed in front of an audience?We usually just play North Texas and Southern Oklahoma a lot. Of course we love it. There's nothing else really like it (except for Nightrider).

Yeah hey I know Burning January, yeah I remember when they use to ask if they could borrow my equipment and what did I get a pat on the back and maybe a handshake. Ungrateful bloodsuckers. Oh and if you guys read this tell me how school is going. Laters
