Hello World! Ive had a lot of questions posed to me about who I am, where I came from, and whats the Bunnie & Clyde stand for. So I think its fair time that I give you what you want. Born March 22, in Christiansted, St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands, at 6 days old I was nicknamed Bunnie. At the age of 9 months, my older brother and I were brought to Georgia by my maternal grandmother. My brother Jay and I were very close. We were often referred to at church and by family friends as Bunnie & Clyde. After a few years we were separated and I havent seen my brother since. Hence Bunnie & Clyde, it is more than just a reference for me. Since we were from the islands I spent most of my early childhood as the black sheep, at church and at school, due to the ignorance of our own people that there was no need for separation amongst ourselves. When I was about 6 years old, I was at school and I went to the bathroom. As I entered the stall, there was a Caucasian girl entering to my left, and a stuck up African-American girl entering to my right. I constantly wondered what made me any different from them, why was I so different? I sat there and as we all started to use the bathroom at the same time, we all finished at the same time. It seemed almost instantaneous to me at that time. That we are all the same and that the only boundaries that exist are the ones we create for ourselves mentally, socially, and artistically. I know it sounds cheesybut hey I saw the light. From that day forward, I knew that even though I didnt fit into any group, I was in a group all of my own and I was happy with that. At age 8, I began writing songs and poetry to express myself and reading to see how others expressed themselves. My favorite book and most life changing book was Black Boy by Richard Wright. (Read it if you havent!) Ive grown and matured into a successful Black Woman, independent, and strong. I fought to succeed, finished school, went to college, the military, and did my dirt too. Rise & Grind daily! I learned that its the little things in life that matter. Take a dollar for example wouldnt it be better to have 100 pennies instead of a dollar bill, if they were memories? I mean youd have 100 memories instead of just that one. You could recount those memories over and over, and theyd all be like new each time. For most that single memory, may or may not be enough. So in life I believe in being who you are despite those who attempt to tear you down and use you. Because there is no retaliation, revenge, payback, etc. that I nor any other human could possibly give or push out that is greater than that of the God himself. So ultimately, I understood and accepted that there were consequences for our actions and that one must accept that knowingly prior to making choices. The most important thing to me is my right to choose. Youll always here me say, never take away a womans right to choose in anything, and youll be okay Well, what can I say...I have a story to tell and Im goin to tell it whether youre listening or not.... Ive seen a lot of things and been through a lot of things...but the only way my past dictates my future is through motivation. I live and I learn, but as long as Im living I will never stop learning. Im now expressing these words, and my feelings as songs. Not only on paper. So for those of you who are feeling my vibefeeling my flowget at me!!! Much love and respect to all!

Your musical influences
I'm eclectic but my main influence is life...too many sounds and genres come through life experiences to classify them as one!
