I started off as one half of the rap group Dark Ninjas, and one unreleased album later a combonation of creative differances and the fact the other member moved accross the country forced me to go solo. I changed my name, my style, and well everything suddenly started to click. I recently "re-united" on a few tracks with my homie and former rhyme partner Big C Kronik, and even re-made the Dark Ninjas group for a new project (see link above). As for now I'm going to keep going the solo route while working on The Dark Ninjas Project at the same time, and trying to wrap that up first.Have you performed in front of an audience?I've done a few MC Contest here and there but nothing major. I hope to start playing shows soon, and I'm very interested in hearing some shows options (hit me up to talk about such things if you got a show going down).
Your musical influences
I hate when asked about my musical influences; it sets up a sort of gap people then expect you to fall into. I can point out obvious influences in what I write (such as Corporate Avenger, KMK, Bloodhound Gang, and Dead Prez) but that isn't the entire list of artist that have influenced me. How can anyone listen to a Behthoven peice and not be influenced by it? Everything you see and here influences you, and they all seem to find their way into your work.What equipment do you use?
