Your musical influences
I am inspired by versatility, adaptation, creativity, skills, GAME, and the art of being unpredictable. Most of my inspirations are deceased, legendary prophets and innovators such as; 2 Pac, Hendrix, Bob Marley & Minnie Riperton. They influnced me to define hip hop and not let it define me. Thats what each of them did to their style of music. Hip Hop as a whole influences me because without the garbage that's out now, I wouldn't have as much passion behind my words to eradicate it. I use to have a lot of influences as a youth such as; Guru, Rakim, Kool G Rap, Kane, Ice Cube, Scarface, Chubb Rock & King Tee. Now it's only the handfull that I believe I would be compared to; Tech N9ne, MF Doom, Eminem, Busta Rhymes, & E40. What I have in common with them is the gift to "flip it". Just when you think they're known for a signature style, they impress you by doing something very "unpredictable" with a guest artist or on another album. These are the few MCs in the game right now (like myself) that I believe are capable of taking his opponents style and using it against him. The few who can say "I can do what you're doing, but you can't do what I'm doing".What equipment do you use?
