Hi, It's just me putting sounds on the web. Mostly me over backing tracks on Harmony Central for now. A work in progress or two. Hope you like.
Band/artist history
Been in a few bands, some actually skirting the edge of "making it," but the rest of the time, just picking up work wherever it can be found.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
At this point occasionally (taking care of ailing parent). I fill in as a sideman with a couple of local bands from time to time.
Your musical influences
My influences are all over the map. If it catches my ear, I'll find something to pull into my music and playing, so my style is basically ecclectic. I started out playing R&B, Rock, Fusion, and Prog Rock back in the 70's. I also do Blues, Roots Rock, a bit of Jazz, Ambient, as well as some Acoustic Fingerstyle.
What equipment do you use?
Guitars (electric): Hamer Sunburst Archtop Flame top, Sunburst Archtop Quilt top; Brian Moore i21; Carvin DC400T, DC135T; Switch Midnite Express (strung B - B a 5th above standard); Fender TexMex Strat, Bass VI (strung as a baritone); '65-'68 Gibson ES-335. Guitars (acoustic): Larrivee C-09, Taylor 612C; Avante AV-2 Baritone; Ibanez AEG10NETNG nylon acoustic electric; Alhambra 5p classical; Bass:Washburn XB-600 Bantam Bass Amps: Mesa Boogie Mark4 widebody, Tech 21 Trademark 60, Fender Stage 112SE; Rane AP-13 dual source preamp(Alesis PEQ-450 Parametric Equalizer)/SWR Blonde on Blonde extension cabinet, Fishman Loudbox, Fender Acoustasonic jr. Misc: 2 no name banjos (4 and 5 string); A stack of pedals, some Line6 stuff including the original POD and Guitar Port (makes recording at 4:00am much easier), a keyboard and modules, guitar synth, trombone, clarinet, whatever else I can get my hands on.
Anything else?
I like pizza. . . I like sushi, but not necessarily as a topping. . . chocolate is good, so is chili. . . that's all for now. . . wait-a-minute. . . no. . . no, that's it.
