Bogdo Ula combines free improvisation with energetic rock. It has been influenced by musical styles from hard rock to free jazz. The music may start from a theme, a melody, a scale or a guitar riff. The musical idea may grow from a simple melody line to a furious improvisation. For instance John Coltrane would give his band only two notes as the basis of a new tune. This idea has inspired Bogdo Ula to make music from a minimalistic starting point. Bobgo Ula has tried to achieve something fresh and instantaneous, trying to make the music happen without uniformed composing and practising.Band/artist history
