What started out as family fun on the back porch has blossomed into The Real Deal!! This is just superb. Aida's vocals have matured tremendously and she now sings with much more confidence, emotion, and fuller vocal tone. Ma is steady as a clock on that bass, the dobro offers delicious accents, and Forrest has exploded with new ability on the banjo.... even the old man himself sounds better than ever. Hat's off to Blueberry Hill!!

for a live performance, or any performance, that is amazing. i can go off and listen to each instrument individually and enjoy the talent of that player. your banjo man gets more fluid each time i hear you. just excellent. the vocal is outstanding. liked the addition of the dobro. just can't rave enough about how good you guys are.

Song: Long Ride Home
Aida is clearly steppin' up and i can hear her own style emerging. Really like the solid backup from Forrest (and that cool intro) Rock solid bass as always and dad's touches hold it all down. Nice tune...well done by all!

Song: Long Walk to Winslow
Easily one of the best tunes yet from the Blueberry Hill gang. Great lyrics, wonderful melody, solid playing, and fine lead singing and harmonies. I thought the solos could have been just a bit more aggressive but that has nothing to do with the song itself, which i predict will be #1 in bluegrass shortly if it ain't there already. Hats off to the Miller Tribe. Great new tune for my mountain music station!

Song: Freeborn Man
Oh yeah! A fine, fine version. Real tight and everyone's playing for the song. You're doing a great job of teaching your kids some very important musical principles at an early age. Good on ya!

I echo Pine's comments... Aida has an amazing voice. So strong and clear. I'd like to read the lyrics too.

No comments on this one yet? Better start doin' more promo! Aida, your vox are just ace. I love your tone...it's got a good cut to it and your pitch sounds dead on to me. Your back up band sounds darn fine here...might better sign 'em to a contract. Fine job on this old favorite. Stay on that mic and get those lyrics out clear as ya can...and post the lyrics when ya put up the song so's old codgers like me can read along. The wife and i really enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing it!

if you guys played around here i wouldn't miss a gig. could listen to this over and over. what a collection of talent. as always, kev, your vocal is outstanding.
This is great! A family thing, for me as an Englishman this is the real deal, everything I ever learned about music originated in America, it's got everything, acoustic guitar, slide, banjo, bass, and vocals all executed with the utmost competence, and that natural authenticity, get over to sound click,we got it all here !
