I spent many years playing blues guitar in bands at the semi-pro level, weekend gigs in clubs mostly. Finally got sick of trying to keep part time bands together and decided to do my own thing for a while. Last real band I was in broke up around '95, been doing the solo recording thing for the last couple of years. Lately I have also been collaborating with other indie musicians via the internet; I work on their projects and they work on mine.

Not any more. I used to love it, nothing like the buzz you get from playing in front of an audience. I will most likely go that route again someday, but for now I am having too much fun doing the solo recording thing.
