a day on the plains a day on the plains
a chill improvisation with my girlfriend on piano, based on a basic chord progression and a tango-influenced rythm. Target was musically painting the repetitivity but yet originality of the landscape when walking the plains. No big peaks are to be ex

whispering winds whispering winds
improvisation on a simple chord progression with tenor and piano, going for the subtone
Saxophones are magic. That's why I like to blow them so much.
Here on this page you'll find mainly home recordings of jam sessions with a friend on piano

Band/artist history
I blow on a tenorsax since 2004. Before that, I played percussion for 10 years. In 2005 I got a soprano sax, and a bit later I also bought a bariton. Next to some street performances with Ell Circo d'ell Fuego, I play in the Bolwerk fanfare (Gent) and Cafe con Leche (Gent)
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I play live as a living-background-tape in a circusproject, as an annoying loud tenor in a marching band and as a honkin' dude in that same ska band, Cafï con Leche
Your musical influences
Roel Jacobs (sax in "The Internationals" and "The Seatsniffers"), as he is my teacher. From style influences :
Klezmer (tons), a bit of jazz, classical music, poppy 2-to-4-chord progressions with basic improvising
What equipment do you use?
Raymond Dubois tenorsax (1920), BergLarsen stainless steel 115/2/SMS, Rico Jazz Select 3S
Dolnet Belair soprano, selmer mouthpiece, vandoren nï3
Symphony Bariton sax (Martin Handcraft copy of 1917), BergLarsen stainless steel 120/2/SMS, Rico Jazz Select 2M
Anything else?
I ain't living if I ain't blowing.........
sax, that is.
