Band/artist history
PRODUCER BIO Taunts from kids and asthma attacks, is enough to break a normal child. This is not the case, for this Georgia born producer / emcee. Ricardo Wilson embraces the name weazy, changes the spelling to Wee-Zee, and a star is born. Born April 4, 1978 in Augusta, Ga to teenage parents, Wee-Zee was destined for glory from his first breath. Shortly after his birth, a young Wee-Zee was moved to Atlanta, Ga. growing up in the ATL, Wee-Zee found his love for music at an early age. He was exposed to a very wide variety of music. AI can remember hearing old blues and juke joint records at my grandparents house, then riding home with my dad listening to the likes of Lenny Williams, only to be picked up by my step-dad bumping some funk, like the Gap Band and the Bar-Kays. This was all in a single day says Wee-Zee. With the exposure Wee-Zee had to the music, it's not difficult to understand his love of variety. Throughout his pre-teen and teenage years, Wee-Zee's passion for music grew. He was living and going to school in an up and coming Music Mecca. Mostly known for it's Booty-Shake Music, Atlanta was becoming a lyrical contributor to the Music scene, with the emergence of groups like Outkast. I heard those cats and fell in love. They took all the types of music I loved and mixed it up in a pot, then put lyrics over it. I was amazed Says Wee-Zee. That's pretty much when I decided that was the path I wanted to take. Although he loved the music and knew what he wanted, accomplishing his goals was easier said than done. Now a high school graduate with no ambitions of becoming a college graduate and a very close call with law enforcement, Wee-Zee became a U.S. Marine shortly before his 18th birthday. Wee-Zee was in the Marine Corps for a very short while before he realized he couldnt run from his passion. I joined the Marine Corps because I wanted to leave it all behind. Everything! The music was something I just couldnt shake. He crossed paths in North Carolina with a local producer known as Artis, who was also a fellow Marine. Not much happened. I recorded a couple songs, but something just didnt feel right. Later in his Military career, Wee-Zee was transferred back to his home state. AI did a couple mix tapes with a couple of my home boys in Albany, but nothing serious. As fate would have it, Wee-Zee was moved to Okinawa, Japan where he was introduced to fellow Georgia Boy, Emcee / Producer, RellBoy. Wee-Zee finally found what he was missing. AI met Rell, and we instantly clicked. We would spend hours and hours working on music. He taught me a whole lot about producing. That=s when I realized why I was so disappointed in the other work I had done. The beats were straight, but they werent that melting pot I had grown up listening to, or Outkast had blended so well Says Wee-Zee. He and Rellboy completed countless songs, but only one album was released, RellBoy's debut, The Underground Rellroad. In May of 2005, Wee-Zee was relocated to a base just outside Seattle, Wa. Keeping with tradition, he quickly befriended a local up and coming emcee / producer, Kill-Joy. The difference maker this time was Kill-Joy, who at the time was starting his own record label In Tha Ruff Records. Using his skills plus the techniques RellBoy had taught him, Wee-Zee impressed Kill-Joy, and quickly became one of his top beat suppliers. Thats my go to guy, if I need it he got it. Im trying to build an empire and I need to surround my self with good people and I want Wee-Zee to be part of the team Says Kill-Joy. I feel right at home, I ain't going nowhere says Wee-Zee. From birth to the present, Wee-Zee has been filled with music. Now he's ready to unleash it on the world.

Im intrigued by pretty much every producer out there, unknown and well known.
