The Army Records a group from the midwest that does it all. The Army has members making beats, rapping, producing, screwing & chopping, freestyling, diss tracks, and mixtapes. The group and other local rappers spit on instrumentals and put them out to show their skills. This is called the mixtape game. They have their own recording equipment so this group doesn't have to worry about studio fees.
The Army is straight spitting verses they have no time on the beat for a chorus. The group contains hip-hop artists that have very different styles of music and different rap styles that all have a catchy tone to it.Band/artist history
The Army consist on Double Def, I Blaze, The Don. In The beginning it was Me, Double Def then came Chessplay but now haven't had no contact with him for quiet some time now. Later on Justin came known as "The Don" came from Mississippi joined us and are still with us today. Later on Omar came also known as "Meta4" but now known as "Lyrical Menace." We had some contact with him but not a lot anymore since he move away. Then came Sean Strong also known as "Black Sargent" and still with us today. Overtime many other artists have collaborated with us including 3 way Crew, Black, Lil Krayzie, Eziyoko, Diamond, Mr. Brown and more...we are now workin on the new mixtape called "Mixtape :The Army Records" This is our second mixtape comin out. With hit tracks includin "Holla At Me Baby", "We Stay Fly", "Touch It Remix." We have some more artists that want to collab with us on the new mixtape. Many more features comin up later.....Have you performed in front of an audience?Not at this point.
