There is a boring oversaturation of the accepted sound that a "metal band" has to have. These people think they are being extreme or rebellious but the fact is they are just as much a fad as the rest of them. What I am doing is not along the lines of any fad.

Not a band. This is more unconventional. (Unlike the bands that call themselves original only to find out that they are just as lame as the next band.)Have you performed in front of an audience?No. Not a live music guy. More into engineering sound/mixing etc. Besides, I think you need a band for that.
