Hey thanks for visiting our site LISTEN TO OUR MP3's and let us know what you think!! Email us at FLINGDA@AOL.COM .. BLANK LOGIC is a Christian Melodic Rock band out of Chowchilla, CA. We are a three piece band. Some of our music influences are by bands such as MXPX, Slick Shoes, and The Atari's. We are Christians, our songs are about everything from Jesus to girls and broken hearts. We have songs about the everyday struggles of being a Christian in the world, including relationships and love. Our songs do not preach hate or negative themes. We also have songs that talk about the love and grace of Christ and all that He did for us on the cross. You can visit our offical site at www.blanklogic.com.
Band/artist history
BLANK LOGIC BIOGRAPHY BLANK LOGIC is a 3-piece Christian Melodic Rock band from Chowchilla, Ca. Our music is influenced by bands such as MxPx, The Ataris, and Slick Shoes. The members are Gary Price (vocals, guitar) Anthony Gonzales (bass) Jordan Smallwood (drums). We write about life in our music. We usually end up writing more about girls, but I guess were young. We write about our Lord Jesus Christ, and trying to live right, and his love. We write about broken hearts, and relationships. We recently got sponsored by a local skate shop (KING SKATE), in Chowchilla, Ca, and they gave us a van and pay for gas, and they provided us with that big BLANK LOGIC banner we have at our shows. We love touring, we want to get out everywhere and play for everyone. We do about 2-4 shows a week right now, and there hardly ever local shows. Almost all of our shows are at least 2-3 hours away. We have done shows 10 hours away. We play everywhere. We have been requested to do shows in Oregon, Washington, Texas, Michigan, Philadelphia, and Florida, but we don’t have the funds yet to pay for gas. We play all over California. San Diego, Modesto, Sacramento, Fresno, San Luis Obispo, Santa Cruz, Marysville, Stockton, Newport Beach, Bellflower, Merced, Hayward, Kingsburg, Oakdale, Gilroy, Reedley, Mendota, Turlock, Chowchilla, Whittier, and others to come. Bands we have played with include: Too Bad Eugene (Tooth & Nail Records/Rock City Recordings), Pax217 (Forefront Records), Side Walk Slam (Tooth & Nail Records), Shop 11 Phoenix (Bettie Rocket Records), Noggin Toboggan (Bettie Rocket Records), Makeshift 3 (New School Records), Like David (Bettie Rocket Records) The Temper Tantrums (Bettie Rocket Records) Don’t Look Down(Nitro Records) Plain White T’s(Fearless Records) Number One Gun(Tooth And Nail Records) John Rocky Spirit (Indie Vision Records)Jamison Parker(interscope). We all work really hard, we run our own website www.blanklogic.com , we make our own designs, make our own stickers, our own buttons, make CD artwork and package them and sell them, make our own flyers for shows or just about the band and go put them everywhere, we are always looking for more fans. We book all of our own shows, but lately we have been getting offered more, so that’s good too. We go to big shows and talk to bands and promote ourselves and our CD’s. We just hung out with MxPx a few weeks ago and the lead singer Mike Herrera called my house but we were out of town playing shows for a straight week, but he said we might be able to do a show or two with them, which would really help. Our goal is to go out there and have a cool band that Christian kids can really like and relate with. I think our music crosses over both lines, we have a lot of secular fans and a lot of Christian fans and we play at a lot of churches and secular clubs as well. We feel that’s important, you have to go to places where people don’t know Christ so they can hear about him, sometimes they don’t even know until later, they just liked the song. We want to help save people and we want to be a band that is cool to like for kids that are already saved. We are all ready to go on a full tour, we have the van, the merchandise, the dedication and drive, and we all have good equipment. Anthony plays a Fender precision bass, and an Ampeg bass stack, and a wireless system. Gary plays a custom Charvelle guitar and a Marshall half stack, Jordan has a custom Pork Pie drum kit with DW hardware and top of the line Paiste cymbals. We are ready to go, we love playing live, and touring. We are just waiting for you. Love, Gary Price, Anthony Gonzales, and Jordan Stick BLANK LOGIC
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Well, right now we are limited to playing in mostly california and some of oregon and a couple other surrounding states due to money issues. We have a couple tours this year that will be pretty rad we have all the dates posted at www.blanklogic.com. We love playing live shows its so rad.. Special Moments? Probably playing at this local show in Modesto, about 800 kids showed up at this small venue and it was just so awesome looking out and seeing all of them rockin' out to our music.
Your musical influences
I could fill this in with a million bands if we got technical.. But I will spare you. MxPx, Slick Shoes, The Ataris, Foo Fighters, Stevie Wonder, Van Halen, The Police, Led Zeppelin, Number One Gun,.....
