It all began many many months ago in a Dusty Basement in Salisbury with a funk band that led Phil Campbell to meet Eric Myers. After the demise of this band and many others, Eric decided to put down the sax and pick up the Bass. Along the way they met a friend named Brad Stevens that put himself behind the drum kit for a short time before a traggic wheat thresher incident left Phil and Eric with out a drummer. Shortly thereafter they met Pete Bailey who incidentally is from the land of the ice and snow... also known as Gambrill Mountain.. It was with this trio that concieved the name Blackwater (which is offically named after a local state park, though many of our fans prefer to think it refers to the sticky remains in certain smoking devices... to each there own). Pete eventually decided the Rock N Roll life wasn't for him and went back to college... It was then that we discovered super drummer Mike Myers (Not related to Eric and not the guy from the Haloween movies.... but his drumming will make you wet your pants.... Especially the ladies!!!)Have you performed in front of an audience?We play live at Summit Station Brewery, Dusty Roads, City of Gaithersburg Ampitheater and Club X-hale.
