I've been "playing at" guitar since I was 12 - about the time my cousin stuck the nickname of "Biz" on me. Some of you may remember 33 and 1/3 rpm vinyl records. I learned to play guitar by putting on my favorite albums and playing them over and over (and over). I've spent a number of very enjoyable years doing other things, including watching my kids grow up, being a "baseball dad", changing careers, etc. Now that my kids are in college, I've been lucky enough to rekindle my passion for music. Actually, the passion was always there, but I did more listening than playing. ).We're in the process of recording more demos, so check The MOOD site periodically. I work as a CPA by day to support my "guitar habit."

Your musical influences
Classic rock from late 60s/early 70s(Led Zeppelin #1) and progressive acts like Rush and Pink Floyd. One of my new favorites is Porcupine Tree (new to me anyway). I'm also listening to a lot of alt-country these days, primarily Cross Canadian Ragweed and Drive-By Truckers.What equipment do you use?
