Without You Without You

Recorded in Liverpool by my old band, Shinobi - this was our tearjerker/end of the night song. I can't believe this one never got us famous! Get your lighters ready...

How can a band who regularly played at The Cavern NOT do a huge version of a Beatle-related song? It'd be rude not to!

Electric Blues

I'm a musician from Liverpool, England and have been playing guitar since I was 16, playing live since 18. I've traditionally concentrated on live work but recently started to develop an interest in computer recording. I still try to keep as much of a live feel as possible with my music, trying to record songs in such a way that the recordings and live versions sound as similar as possible.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Many times! Last live performance was a webcast at a good friend's home. That was a ton of fun, and made me realise how much I miss being on stage.
Your musical influences
I was surrounded by Rock music from an early age. My parents used to go to The Cavern Club before I was born, and my Mum saw The Stones almost exactly 20 years before I did. In the 70's, my uncle was a photographer who worked with the likes of Queen, Rory Gallagher, Lizzy, Uriah Heap, etc. Earliest memories include seeing Sweet on the telly singing The Sixteens, and hiding behind the couch when ads for Aladdin Sane came on TV. I grew up on all of that kind of music but Queen were probably my biggest love. I stuck with the classic stuff, Sabbath, Lizzy, etc but also tried to listen to as much music as I could
