Aloha,
My name is Billy Sugarfix. I grew up in Shangri La with my Mom and Dad ( Mr. and Mrs. Sugarfix). When I was 9, I moved out and lived in Never Never Land where I studied music intensely, and in my early twenties I moved to Carrboro NC, where I still live.Band/artist history
I began playing music and writing songs because of swimming. One day, I went to an old abandoned rock quarry that had filled up with water to take a dip, and noticed an odd ripple in the middle of the pool. It was twilight and thus sort of hard to see, but it soon became obvious that something was coming to the surface, something big. I watched for a few more minutes, and as my eyes adjusted to the light I made out the shape of a human hand holging a guitar above the surface. Without thinking, as though divinely guided, I swam out to the hand and took the guitar.
I don't know about you, but I'd say that was a sign.Have you performed in front of an audience?I do play live, mainly in Chapel Hill. I also go on short tours around NC and surrounding states.

I think this "Blue Heron" song is really good. I think it could be a hit.

My dog's name is "Marcello Bello the wonder dog". I thought he was a dog, but he's also my favorite animal by far... so he must be, in all actuality, a BLUE HERON.
Billy
I liked blue heron. I'll be checking out more of your tracks.
I hate to fish for listeners, but I find myself doing just that.
Perhaps you could give a listen to HEY! I MEAN YOU and give me your thoughts.

Hey Billy
Love your stuff. I spent a bit of time in Chapel Hill a few years back. Hung out at the Cave drinking and playing with Greg Bell, Big Anthony, Mark Simomsen, McKay and Sooz to name but a few. We might have run into one another. I know your face. Anyway keep making great music. You remind me of LW111
