William Travis was a musician from as far back as he could remember. He taught himself drums at a very early age. Guitar soon followed, as well as piano and trumpet. Bill entered the Air Force. While there he and two other friends formed a rock trio called ETR Express where he played bass guitar, (his first love of all the instruments he plays). ETR Express became enormously popular and developed a strong following throughout southwest Ohio and northern Kentucky.
After his Air Force run and leaving ETR Express, he returned to his hometown in Ohio. Once there, he formed the contemporary Christian band, “Trilogy”. Trilogy became one of the most popular contemporary Christian bands in the Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York area and was regularly featured at large community Christian events, radio and television. Trilogy was also the requested warm up band for Dan Peek (formerly of “ America”).
Bill moved to Southeast Florida and quickly helped to form a contemporary Christian band 60 A.D. A unique blend of contemporary Christian rock, pop and jazz styles 60 A.D. developed and recorded an album that had all compositions written by Bill.
In 2004 William Travis signed a management and recording contract with Coast 3 Entertainment of Nashville TN. We are currently expanding and developing his talents. Bill is currently working on his latest album with his new group B. T. P. This album consists of jazz guitar and contemporary Christian songs . The premier single from that album called “Going Up” is currently being played in several markets in the United States and overseas.
Because of his experience in leadership roles in churches and corporate America we also have plans for a very unique ministry.
