Big Thumb

Instrumental guitar music. Mostly acoustic. Somtimes agressive sometimes subdued. Melodic with a twist. Some is hard rock electric. Hopefully interesting.

Band/artist history
I grew up in Southern California. Was surrounded by music of all kinds my whole life. My parents are very musical and talented in their own ways so that's where it started. Started playing guitar at 14. It was Aerosmith's "Same Old Song and Dance" and Ritchie Blackmore of Deep Purple that made me want to play guitar. I began listening to hard rock that was heavy on guitar. Then when I heard progressive bands like Rush and Yes, that led me to bands like The Dregs, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Return To Forever and on into jazz and classical.
