Big Newton is a four piece pop-rock act from Ottawa, Canada. Billed by some as happy music and others as quick and clever Big Newton puts on your basic rock show. What's unique is the three part harmony quick and clever lyrics that leave you humming right along with them.Band/artist history
Formed in 1998 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and
Big Newton was originally a cover band. None of the members wanted to do original music, just play gigs. Well time came we didn't have enough material and soon we were playing our own tunes just to keep up. Who knew anybody would like 'em? That's when we decided to record them on our first album The Universe is FallingHave you performed in front of an audience? We play live continuously in Ottawa at least and surrounding areas. We love it and the most special moment would have been our own real Superfan's birthday where she got up and sang after a few (to say the least) too many drinks. Just glorious heraing our music conveyed in such a fashion.
