Band/artist history
BEYOND started in 1998 from a
bunch of friends who wanted to jam
together. Matt (drums) already played
music with V (guitar) when DD, Mik
and others friends played on their side.
Matt met DD and Mik and they found
out that they all played music, so we
planned to jam together to form a
"new metal" band. Some friends left
the band for differents reasons until
we were only 4 members.
The first BEYOND show was at
Club Soda (Montreal), in front of
at least 500 peoples, from an exposure
of new bands from Montreal.
The band joined Infection Production
that gave to the band a lot of show
and exposure.
Now, BEYOND's project include:
first full album, new songs, more
shows and always go BEYOND.
BEYOND a commencé en 1998
par un regroupement d'amis
qui voulaient jammer ensemble.
Mathieu (drummer) jouait déjà avec
Vincent (guitariste) pour le plaisir
de faire de la musique et Mike
(chanteur), Dédé (bassiste) et
d'autres de leurs amis qui jammaient
de leur côté, se sont tous réunis pour
faire un groupe " new metal ".
Quelques amis ont quitté le groupe,
jusqu'à se qu'il y en aille que 4
membres. Le 1e show de BEYOND
était au Club Soda, devant au moins
500 personnes, lors d'un " exposure "
de nouveaux groupes montréalais.
Le groupe s'est associé à
Infection Production ce qui
leur a permis de faire plus de show
et de publicité. Maintenant, nous avons
comme projet de terminer un album,
faire des nouvelles chansons, plus de
publicité, plus de show et toujours
aller BEYOND.
