BenSem

Bensem are an indie rock band based in Cardiff, South Wales. They perform a set of twelve original songs with a passion and professionalism not seen regularly in today's music industry. Craig Semmens (singer/songwriter) has been playing with Peter Rawbone (lead guitarist) for the past seven years; they were joined by Adrian Jones (bassist) and Kevin Cook (drummer) in 2006. After three months of hard practice they are taking the show on the road. Bensem are not about image or style, they craft and perform their music purely for the love of playing. Semms has an instinctive style of writing with lyrics which come straight from the heart. Being friends with Pete since the age of eleven, the pair have a well-fused musical relationship, which provides the unique sound and style. Adrian composes melodic bass lines while maintaining rhythmic strength in support of the nature of the songs. Completing the line up, Kevin (The Rock), through experience, knowledge, and skills, brings the band together in unity. The band are a family, even though their time together has been relatively short. They wish to share this with all who want to be involved. Not concerned with today's stylised music industry, Bensem want to concentrate on bringing back what matters most: great music and strong songs being played with heart and soul.
