Bella Rana (which means "Beautiful Frog" in Italian) performs acoustic music, including many original songs. We are a mother-daughter duo and our music features close harmonies accompanied by an acoustic guitar. We've been playing together for a little over a year now and really enjoy performing in the Central Florida area. I hope you enjoy our very first attempts at recording.
What's with the frog fascination? The story goes that if you place a frog into a pot of boiling water, it will immediately jump out and save itself. Butif a frog is placed into a pot of relatively cool water the frog swims around happily without trying to escape. If the water is slowly heated the changing temperature goes unnoticed by the frog. The water becomes hotter and hotter, yet the frog does not perceive the danger and doesn't try to jump out. Eventually, the water reaches the boiling point but it is too late and the frog is boiled alive.
When it comes to our rights and freedoms, sometimes we are a lot like these frogs. When a person is a victim of domestic violence, their rights are eroded very slowly, and many will just sit there and allow it to go on and on, without trying to get away from a very dangerous situation. Stay safe my friends...and don't ever let the water get too hot.
