Once again "Brooklyn the Planet” has spit out another Emcee that represents the soul of the original streets and attitude of the East. The name “Bekay” will be forever implanted into the collective consciousness once people at large experience the depth of emotion exploding from the mind of this 25 year-old Jewish lyrical genius. His versatility and writing talents are impeccable and can not be denied.

BEKAY:

1. Has been on B.E.T’s 106th and Park “Freestyle Fiday”battle.

2. Had the #1 record (JUNE 05) on college radio "The Raw" featuring Inspectah deck and Saigon. The song was XXL magazines underground pick of the month as well.

3. Won the International Music Festival's best rap/hip hop solo artist award (JULY 05).

4. Recorded the last collaboration song ever with ODB aka Dirt Mcgirt(RIP).

5. Has gotten airplay on NYC’s largest stations Hot 97 and Z100 . Sway of MTV regularly spun Bekay’s promos on the famous “Morning Show”.

6. Was chosen in to compete in MTV’s “MC Battle”. This tryout consisted of over 5000 rappers, and Bekay was chosen as one of 27 finalists.

7. Competed for a spot on MTV’s “Making the Band. Of over 50,000 hopefuls from seven major U.S. cities, he stood tall among the 25 finalists. It was actually a contractual obligation that

prevented him from continuing on the show. He was a staff favorite during the original tapings of the show.

8. Won 1st place in New York’s largest showcase competition at NYC’s “Cheetah Club” held by A.J. of B.E.T, and Funk Master Flex’s “Big Dog Pitbulls”.

9. Has just recently done an exclusive song for DON KING'S boxing DVD to be released later this year.

10. Is working with The Alchemist, Kay Slay, Super producer Kanye West's production team KONMAN, Super producer Jonathan “JR” Rotem(50 Cent), Master Ace, Dj Babu(Dialated Peoples), Saigon, Wordsworth, Inspectah Deck, and many others for his next project.

12. Has sold over 50,000 CD’s that he has pressed himself, and is on countless numbers of mixtapes (Sickamore, Kay Slay,etcetc)

13. Was voted by over 100,000 people as #1 Independent hip hop artist of 2004 by digitalflava.
