Sosha and me (Jegor) have started a conspiracy of beats, we call it Beatcomplot.Band/artist history
We both were making beats on the computer for a while. At a certain point both of us started to get drum an bass influences in our sound, so we decided to make some beats together, both of us have different specialties. Jegor is better at mixing(mixed/mastered almost all the songs on this page), making the sound of a beat nice and comes up with catchy melodies, and sosha is a specialist at insane the beats, for the moments when we have to go insane and the drums just rips out of the speakers.Have you performed in front of an audience?Beatcomplot is rather new, so we've never spinned our decks on stage before. But we're planning to do so soon.
Your musical influences
We like hard and heavy. Noisia is one of our favorites, some beats are coming up now with more of that noisia sound. The other beats, are mixes of drum and bass and sometimes hardcore(gabber) and other styles, Sometimes some techno influences are audible. Though our style is quickly evolving, so expect a variety of different styles in upcoming beats.What equipment do you use?
A midi keyboard, A external soundcard, plugin synth's, studio monitors. Mostly we work with fruityloops, with a hell of a lot plugins ;-).Anything else?
