Bluer Than Blue Bluer Than Blue
A LONG, SLOW, SAD Blues song with strong Floydian tones and gruff baritone sax interludes, a CUT, and a CUTOFF. It is always a delightful experience when composing to discover something that seems to WANT to reveal itself to you, and you merely UNCOV

13-Ice And Fire 13-Ice And Fire
A catchy blues tune and chord sequence. This is the short version, but I'm thinking of taking this to a film theme.

12-Far Yonder 12-Far Yonder
Get up and dance. As you do, think of 'Farscape', worm-holes, what-the-frell!

11-Imogen May 11-Imogen May
A slow foxtrot for dancing by the pool at midnight on a hot summer's night.

10-Incident 10-Incident
Something has happened. You haven't had time to see.... confusing images flash before your eyes..... it was all an illusion.

This band is my one-man band. You remember seeing the one-man bands of the past, a guy playing a trumpet and an accordion with strings from his knees to a bass drum? No? Well I'm not like that, except in spirit! Instead I have a Roland W30 Workstation (a la Prodigy!) and three networked computers. All my output is DIGITAL. I compose, my band plays. When I'm tired, it packs up immediately. There're only ten steps from my practice hall to my bed! The band never complains, doesn't need refreshment, and doesn't go on strike for more pay!
Band/artist history
'59-'65 Bass guitarist and pianist in a dozen rock bands in South England. I made my guitar, amplifier, speaker system in my last school year.
'66-'89 Industrial Designer, draughtsman, engineer, mechanic. '89-'95 Studio technician, sampler and composer for World Music, London. '96 to date. Composer, works: "Voyage" for World Music and "World-of-Wisdom" Astrology CD. Technician for "Twelve" and "Out There" by Michael Cartwright. "Crazy Paving" and "Jazzroc" you can find here, and also the "My Joanna" Collection co-composed with Paul Jones. I have now joined a recording band called "Totem 3" with the singing composer Alan Mansfield.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I used to from 1959-1965.
It's the greatest feeling in the world - when it happens.
